God in a box.

I grew up christian. I grew up believing in Jesus and all the beautiful things he would give me.

But lately, I’ve started to believe.

That we accept the love we think we deserve.

And doesn’t this apply to God?

We accept the God that we think we deserve?

But maybe, God is as great as we can comprehend.

When you put him in a box and give him a name, it doesn’t make him greater, it’s the opposite.

To put God in a box, means to limit the great power.

And why on earth would we want to limit God?

So hear me out.

I believe that god is as great and beautiful, far beyond what we can even imagine and comprehend.

I believe the greatness is shown to you, if you open your heart and mind to even just try to understand.

I know that I will never understand. Neither will you, or Zach preaching down the block.

God is beautiful, wise, joyful, alive, and far more great and powerful than I can ever comprehend. I believe if I open my heart and mind to it, and whatever it wants to give and show me, slowly the greatness will be revealed. And it will never be within a box society put me or god in.

By putting god In a box

It only limits the muse

The greatness inside and the beauty around

Desperately wants to be heard

Just as much as me and you

So I hold to the fact, that whatever great,

Is far greater, lighter, magnificent

Than anything I learned in the box I was put In

And by just holding to than

Means I might be a little different

But I feel the greatness inside

Maybe their cheering maybe their crying

Because I know the greatness I lie In

Only nurtures the roots they died in

And truthfully, we all just want to thrive in

Their boxes were small

And they had no idea all along

And for them,

I’m in no box at all.
