My name is Katie Grass.
I am a writer and artist in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I’m the little girl who always doodled in her journals, practiced her cursive, listened to Taylor Swift and wrote songs about boys in her school notebooks. :)
I would run around in the backyard, pretending I was a fairy, singing my heart out, picking all the flowers, with my curly afro bouncing in the wind.
I have a deep love for music and songwriting . I play the guitar, and the love of singing as a kid has only amplified. I spend the most amount of my writing time working on my own songs.
My grandma is my hero, and I’ve always wanted to be just like her. So I ended up having all the same hobbies as her. For example, I love sewing, crafts, deep cleaning, organizing, and going on walks. She continues to inspire me, especially with my sewing journey! I am working on sewing my own wardrobe, and sharing my experience through writing about it.
Home is everything to me. I’m someone who wants to create a space that feels like home. I strive to fill this online space with joy, creativity, fun, honesty and raw humanness. I want to be someone that reminds you to keep doing the things you love, by doing and sharing the things I love.
