I’ve been stuck in this weird fear circle lately and it seems at times the moment I breath through and move past one, another one comes out. I’m sure it doesn’t help that Sza has been on repeat and it seems that the girl just can’t catch a break from all the haters at times. Yet here I am, in my own little world. 

It’s not new news. We live in a world full of distraction. It’s constantly lighting up our lives one notification at a time. It’s a constant buzz, ding, do this, do that, and oh wait, change your mind.

I grew up christian. I grew up believing in Jesus and all the beautiful things he would give me.

But lately, I’ve started to believe.

That we accept the love we think we deserve.

And doesn’t this apply to God?

We accept the God that we think we deserve?

But maybe, God is as great as we can comprehend.

When you put him in a box and give him a name, it doesn’t make him greater, it’s the opposite.

To put God in a box, means to limit the great power.

And why on earth would we want to limit God?

So hear me out.

This year I felt like Katie Grass. 

I got my first pair of cowboy boots. 

Started to learn how to be a better leader. 

How to do things for fun. 

How to set goals and actually fulfill them.

Take care of myself. 

Push myself. 

Strengthen my mind and my body.

Rest. 

Let go. 

Work hard. 

Feel my feelings. 

And be proud of to be a Grass.
